In-building Solutions for Public Safety Radio Coverage

Independent Test and Documentation Service

RFSignalman is an Independent Test Service that has been developed by nti to address the specific requirements necessary to demonstrate compliance to new Fire Codes and NFPA rules and guidelines for indoor radio coverage.

The RFSignalman platform integrates technology, field resources and custom cloud based applications to deliver a fully integrated solution to building owners, public safety and field technicians.

  • The automated data collection equipment is integrated into a light and wearable test platform that delivers accurate and consistent results across all frequency bands.
  • A custom cloud based application is then coupled with the test platform to generate and distribute the test reports as well as provide client and public safety account management.
  • Primary and user accounts are client/agency controlled with secure login and online access to building data and test reports. Building owners only have access to their data and Agencies only view data for their jurisdiction.
  • No Charge for Public Safety access to test reports and to a fusion table with summary data for all buildings. The fusion table can be integrated to GIS applications that would provide first responders with critical radio coverage information.

RFSignalman provides the building owner with an independent and highly cost effective method of measuring and documenting indoor coverage and provides public safety with online access to documentation and coverage data.

nti is an experienced vendor neutral solution provider. The RFSignalman test service is an example of nti’s experience and expertise in delivering complex solutions. Please visit to get more information on Public Safety Indoor Radio Coverage.
